Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer in our Redmond, Washington office. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more experience in electrical design engineering for commercial, healthcare, and mixed-use high-rise residential projects. The successful candidate will assist in proposal preparation, develop initial concepts and scope of work, attend preconstruction meetings, perform calculations, lead detailed design development, prepare specifications, provide quality checks and provide ongoing engineering support during the construction phase. This Engineer will coordinate with other disciplines and communicate with the Project Manager, construction personnel and the client.

Requirements:

Required experience includes the design of power distribution systems, emergency power generation and distribution, short circuit analysis, load calculation, lighting and lighting control systems, grounding and general building systems and controls. Extensive knowledge of the NEC and a four-year BSEE degree from an accredited college or university. Understanding of AutoCAD and MS word and Excel are essential as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Compensation is based on experience.
