Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Estimator in our Redmond, Washington office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete preparation of labor and material estimates. A thorough understanding of electrical complexities of electrical construction projects such as commercial, health care, mixed-use and industrial facilities is required. Other requirements include close coordination with Project Management, data entry, preparing bills of material for purchasing and additional duties as required by the Chief Estimator.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of electrical construction estimating experience, with an emphasis with larger ($3 million +) projects and or estimates. Some college coursework is desirable. Construction or related field experience is desirable but essential. Strong organizational and leadership skill are required for this position as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as a key team member and be willing to listen, ask questions and grow. This position requires an understanding of McCormick estimating software or equivalent, knowledge of the N.E.C. and local codes, understanding of fire alarm system wiring and plans. The candidate should be computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel is able to interpret civil, architectural, structural, mechanical plans and specifications as they relate to electrical projects.
